IBPS Clerk Prelims 2019:

IBPS clerk is a dream job for almost all the banking aspirants. This year there is an excellent vacancy of 12075 all over the country. So candidates must use this opportunity to crack the exam. For that hard work and practice are needed. Your first aim is to crack the prelims exam as it is the first stage. Only if you clear the prelims round, you can take on the final mains exam. IBPS Clerk Prelims Exam Pattern:

The exam is conducted for 100 marks with sectional time being 20 minutes for each section. For each wrong answer, 0.25 marks are deducted as penalty.

Reading newspapers will improve your vocabulary and grammar skills. Grammar skills will be useful to score in error spotting, fillers, sentence correction, etc. As you learn more new words, it will be useful in the synonyms and antonyms part. Strategy wise you can focus the topics such as syllogism, inequality, direction sense, etc. by attending these topics alone you can earn up to 15 marks within a few minutes. Then go for the puzzles and seating arrangements that look simple and easier.
Quantitative Aptitude Strategy and Tips:
Solve more simplification, quadratic equation and number series topics until you get 100% accuracy. Then take more mock tests for the exam point of view data interpretation topics.  Learn all the application sums with short cut methods. Only then you can save more time and attend maximum questions in the exam.
Coming to the exam strategy, go for simplification, number series and quadratic equation topics at first. These topics will fetch you around 20 marks in 10 to 12 minutes. Then you can solve the simple DI questions. Finally go for the application problems that look easier.
